Description
The Piet table lamp of square formation has a different stylised face on each side. Functional artwork at it’s best, adding real character and personality to any interior.
Part of the Gavotte Collection, this piece brings soft geometrics to the collection by virtue of the square base, rectangular form and four different rectilinear faces. The lamp base, which may alternatively be produced as a stand alone piece of sculpture presents a dynamic presence with a form that nods to element of Troika ceramics and the cuboid shapes of Whitechapel glass.
The Gavotte Collection is a collection of functional artwork and a panoply of faces and different characters.
The original sculpture was handcrafted in clay plaster in our studio in London. The piece is then cast in jesmonite, a sustainable water-based material, more durable than plaster and kind to the environment.
