Description
Rudi is well related to the Kinkatou family having evolved and been inspired from the Cote d’ Azur collection of plates. His easy charm and whimsical nature create a perfect foil to either a simple or elaborate setting.
The bust is shallow in depth yet stands tall, ideal for narrow sideboards and console tables where some height and impact is needed and depth of space is limited.
The original sculpture was handcrafted in clay plaster in our studio in London. The piece is then cast in jesmonite, a sustainable water-based material, more durable than plaster and kind to the environment.
